Our ocean is overflowing with trash. It’s not only bad for the environment, but it can also endanger the lives of the animals living there.
The man in this video experienced that firsthand when he was out on his sea kayak and a large creature swam up to him.
It was in 2015 on the coast of Gran Canaria. A man saw something moving toward his kayak. He had no idea what it was.
Then as he lifted up the animal, he realized it was a turtle — one that really needed help!
A fishing net was stuck around the turtle’s neck and flipper. But fortunately, the man was able to cut it off and release the animal back into the water.
