The Princess of Wales was on mum duty this weekend and delighted royal fans say they spotted her attending a local football match with Prince Louis.

Princess Kate was seen chatting to other mums while proudly cheering on her youngest child on Saturday morning, according to a delighted royal fan.

In a video shared on TikTok, the future Queen can be seen dressed casually while interacting with other parents on the field.

The user in the video said: “It’s time to tell you about what happened to me yesterday. You won’t actually believe it.

“So, I take my son to a football match most weekends. And as usual, I went to the football match, and as I arrived there were a lot of people chattering and it was a bit of a weird atmosphere, not the usual atmosphere. And I go up to one of my friends who I see there every week and I said ‘what’s going on, what’s the excitement? It’s just a football match.’

Kate was a vision in autumn neutrals as she wore her beloved Barbour x Alexa Chung’s Edith wax jacket in Sand (£379), which she paired with a pair of brown flared trousers, brown gloves, a brown scarf, and an olive bag.

She finished the look with a light olive tweed cap from Really Wild Clothing which she previously wore back in 2013 and kept her face fresh with no make-up on.

Royal fans jumped in on the hype train and praised the princess for showing up at her son’s football match.

One user wrote on TikTok: “Wow! I wish you could have talked to her. That’s wild!”

Some others criticised the user for claiming it was strange to see the royal, with one writing: “A mum watching her son playing footy is not strange.”

A second one agreed: “Lady, you are making f**t too much out of this. She was a mother watching her son play a game of football.”

Meanwhile, another user on Instagram commented on her recycled hat, saying: “Thought the hat looked familiar. This reminds me of Kate’s absolutely adorable youthful style!”

Princess Kate stepped out for an off-duty outing in London this weekend, wearing a cool and casual ensemble.

Donning chocolate brown flares and a tweed baker boy hat, the Princess of Wales opted for a retro-inspired outfit.

The mother-of-three wore an Alexa Chung x Barbour wax jacket complete with a contrasting cord collar.

Keeping warm in the October weather, Kate accessorised with a caramel scarf and brown mittens.

Kate has been pictured wearing her baker boy before – the “Lindsay” cap from Really Wild Clothing, a brand the princess used to work for before she married Prince William.

The royal has worn the hat, also known as a newsboy cap, for several years, having first worn it in 2013 at a meeting with a local Scout Centre.

She wore the accessory again in 2022 to volunteer at the Great Tower Scout Camp, one of nine Scout Activity Centres in the UK.

Back in 2004, when Kate was dating Prince William, she was seen manning a clothing stall for Really Wild Clothing with a friend at a game fair at Blenheim Palace,

The Princess of Wales has gradually started to return to royal duties after announcing she had completed her course of chemotherapy.

Kate’s public return also marks the comeback of her wardrobe, which always delights royal fans.
