As the holiday season winds down, the British royal family is preparing to return to their usual routines. For Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, this means resuming their studies as they gear up for a significant transition in their educational journey. With Prince George nearing the completion of his time at Lambrook School, discussions surrounding his next academic step have intensified, marking an important decision for both him and his parents, Prince William and Princess Kate.

A Pivotal Moment in Prince George’s Education
Prince George, the eldest son of the Prince and Princess of Wales, has reportedly completed his entrance exams for his next school, signifying a new chapter in his education. While details about his future institution remain undisclosed, speculation suggests that his parents are carefully considering all aspects to ensure the best possible choice.
Royal expert Jennie Bond has offered insights into the potential options for George’s next school. In a recent interview, she mentioned that the decision has likely already been made. “It’s a big year for George,” Bond stated. “I imagine his next destination has been largely decided by now. If I were to place a bet, I’d say Wellington College.”
Located approximately thirty minutes from Windsor, Wellington College presents an attractive option due to its flexible boarding arrangements and coeducational environment. Bond highlighted that this setting could be ideal for all three royal siblings in the future. “Another big plus is that it’s coeducational, so all three of them could attend in the future. That sounds perfect to me,” she added.

The Importance of Keeping Siblings Together
Currently, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are enrolled at Lambrook School, a prestigious preparatory institution that caters to children aged three to thirteen. Before attending Lambrook, Prince George was a student at Willcocks Nursery School and later Thomas’s Battersea in London.
Bond emphasized the significance of keeping the royal children together in their early schooling years. “I always thought it was a wise decision to keep the children together during their formative school years, and I believe that choice has proved to be the right one, especially considering the challenges the family has faced this past year.”
She further noted the emotional stability provided by a familiar school environment during difficult times. “However much William and Catherine tried to shield them, it must have been a huge comfort for the three of them to be together at school when life at home was filled with uncertainty.”
Princess Kate’s Health Journey and Its Impact on the Family
Last March, Princess Kate revealed in a private statement that she had been undergoing chemotherapy following a routine abdominal surgery and subsequent cancer diagnosis. This announcement came as a surprise to many and was met with an outpouring of support from well-wishers around the world.
Fortunately, in a video statement released in September, the Princess of Wales shared a positive update on her health, announcing that she had successfully completed her treatment.
“As the summer draws to a close, I can’t express how relieved I am to have finally finished my chemotherapy treatment,” she said. “The past nine months have been extremely difficult for our family. As many of you know, life can change suddenly, and we have had to navigate uncharted territory.”
Kate also took a moment to reflect on the lessons learned during this challenging time. “The cancer journey is complex, scary, and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you. This experience has reminded William and me to appreciate the simple yet meaningful aspects of life—loving and being loved.”
She concluded by emphasizing her commitment to maintaining her health. “My focus now is on doing everything I can to stay cancer-free.”

With Kate’s recovery progressing and George’s educational transition on the horizon, the coming months will undoubtedly be a period of change for the family.
