A new list has revealed the most popular members of the Royal Family based on public opinion.
The YouGov poll has listed members of the Royal Family in order of popularity, with the most liked member of the Firm listed at the top of the list and the least liked at the bottom.
Although no longer alive, the late Queen Elizabeth has still been ranked as the most popular royal with a popularity score of 77 per cent. The Princess of Wales is then second on the list, with Kate scoring a huge 73 per cent.
Princess Anne follows in third place with a 70 per cent popularity score, followed by Prince William and then King Charles.
With 21 royals listed, it comes as no surprise that certain members of the family are close to the bottom of the list.
In last place with the lowest popularity is Prince Andrew, the Duke of York.
The disgraced prince, who was been plagued by scandal in recent years, had a very low 14 per cent popularity score, making him the most unpopular member of the Royal Family.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry also faced a low score, with Meghan placed 17th in the list with a popularity rating of just 23 per cent.
Her husband Prince Harry is higher on the list in 15th place, with a 27 per cent rating.
But a senior working royal appears to have been snubbed, as they appear much further down the list than their rank.

Although still in the top ten most popular royals, fans may be shocked to see Queen Camilla’s place on the YouGov list.
Despite the fact she has majorly stepped up when it comes to royal engagements this year during the King’s cancer journey, the Queen has been ranked ninth on the list with a popularity score of just 49 per cent, putting her below less senior members of the family including Zara Tindall, the King’s niece.
Prince Edward and his wife Sophie also appeared higher up in the list than Queen Camilla, with Edward scoring 52 per cent and Sophie coming in at 7th place with a 53 per cent popularity rating.
The list was made based on millions of responses from the British public.
The new YouGov poll highlighting the most popular members of the Royal Family has generated significant interest, with both expected and surprising results. Topping the list is the late Queen Elizabeth II, whose enduring legacy continues to resonate with the British public, earning her an impressive 77 percent approval rating despite her passing. This unwavering admiration for the late monarch reflects her long-standing service and iconic status within the monarchy.
The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, secured second place with a strong 73 percent approval rating, solidifying her role as one of the most beloved members of the Royal Family. Known for her grace, charitable work, and family values, Kate’s popularity has remained consistently high over the years. Following closely is Princess Anne, the Princess Royal, in third place with 70 percent. Her no-nonsense approach and dedication to public service have clearly won over the British people.
Prince William, the heir to the throne, comes in fourth place, while his father, King Charles III, ranks just below him. This order highlights the British public’s growing affinity for the younger generation of royals, as they represent the future of the monarchy. King Charles’ score reflects a mix of support and ongoing adjustment to his relatively recent ascension to the throne.
At the other end of the spectrum, Prince Andrew ranks as the least popular royal, with a dismal 14 percent approval rating. His ongoing scandals have severely impacted his public image, placing him at the bottom of the list. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry also find themselves with low approval ratings, positioned at 17th and 15th respectively, which underscores the continued controversy surrounding their departure from royal duties and their public criticisms of the institution.
Interestingly, Queen Camilla’s placement at ninth on the list, with a 49 percent approval rating, has raised some eyebrows. Despite her increased role in royal duties, especially as King Charles battles cancer, her popularity remains below more distant royal family members like Zara Tindall, the King’s niece. Even Prince Edward and his wife, Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, outrank Queen Camilla with approval scores of 52 percent and 53 percent respectively.
This YouGov ranking, based on millions of responses from the British public, offers a snapshot of the Royal Family’s current standing in the public eye. While some figures remain firmly beloved, others face challenges in regaining public trust and affection amidst personal and public controversies.
