HT13. President Donald Trump Plans to Attend 2025 Super Bowl

President Donald Trump is preparing to attend Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, a historic moment as it marks the first time a sitting U.S. president has attended the event. The game will feature the Kansas City Chiefs facing off against the Philadelphia Eagles, promising an exciting matchup for fans across the country.

The U.S. Secret Service has been working diligently to ensure the safety of all attendees. According to Secret Service spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi, “Extensive planning and coordination have been in place to ensure the safety of all attendees, players, and staff.” Security measures include heightened surveillance, increased personnel, and strict entry protocols.

In addition to attending the game, President Trump is scheduled to participate in a pre-recorded interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier. This continues the tradition of presidential interviews with the network broadcasting the Super Bowl. The interview will take place in Florida ahead of the event.

While Trump has not publicly endorsed a team, he has hinted at his admiration for certain players. When asked about his game prediction, he remarked, “I don’t want to say, but there’s a certain quarterback that seems to be a pretty good winner,” seemingly referencing Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Following Kansas City’s AFC Championship victory, Trump congratulated the team on social media, praising their performance and acknowledging their fans’ support. “Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs. What a GREAT Team, Coach, Quarterback, and virtually everything else, including those fantastic FANS,” he posted.

As New Orleans prepares to host Super Bowl LIX, officials have reassured the public that there are no credible threats to the event. This reassurance comes following a tragic incident on Bourbon Street earlier in the year. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem emphasized the extensive security measures in place, stating, “Right now we have no specific credible threats to this event, which should give us all a sense of security.”

NFL Chief of Security Cathy Lanier highlighted the league’s proactive approach to safety, stating that security plans have been reassessed and reinforced. “We have reassessed and stress-tested our timing, communication protocols, contingency measures, and emergency response plans multiple times over the past several weeks,” she said.

More than 2,700 law enforcement personnel from various agencies will be deployed to secure the event. The stadium has been designated a “no-drone zone” to prevent unauthorized aerial activity. Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent in Charge Eric DeLaune is leading the federal coordination for the event, classified as a SEAR 1 security event, the highest level.

Super Bowl week will feature various events, including Opening Night and the Super Bowl Experience, an interactive attraction for all ages. Music fans can look forward to the Apple Music halftime show, headlined by Kendrick Lamar. The artist, performing at the Super Bowl for the first time, expressed excitement about the opportunity. “Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date, and I’ll be there to remind the world why,” he stated.
