The Princess of Wales revealed yesterday in a touching new video that she has finished the course of prophylactic chemotherapy she started at the beginning of 2024 following the shocking discovery that she had a type of cancer.
“The last nine months have been extremely tough for us as a family,” Catherine says in the video. “Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”
Wearing the loose-fitting ‘Castella’ sleeved floral midi dress from Veronica Beard’s SS24 collection, the Princess wore the green amethyst pear drop earrings from Kiki Mcdonough, which she first wore during a visit to a Nuneaton children’s center last July. The outfit was chosen for the heartfelt and frank video.
Her tasteful choice of green amethyst, also known as Prasiolite, was ideal for her sincere appearance because of its hidden significance.
Another name for the stone is “The Calming Collector.” The wearer is surrounded by an aura of “healing energy” because, according to The Crystal Council, “the root and heart chakras become intertwined when holding or channelling the energies of Prasiolite.”
“This revitalising effect can greatly increase the energetic flow within and restart your momentum towards enlightenment,” it continues.
Green amethyst is significant to Catherine because it facilitates the expression of one’s feelings and pains: “The chronic suffering that we now refer to as trauma or other forms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) can be rationalized with a level head and heart. Prasiolite seeks to release the mind from the confining constraints that impede development, self-assurance, and self-worth. It serves as a continual reminder to move forward with love in our hearts and share that love with everyone who is there to support us.”
